What are the foods usually eaten for sunday lunch?

Chicken baked like a pot roast with potatoes, onions and carrots cooked in the same pan, salad and a cobbler for dessert. We do Sunday dinner and then just have something light in the evening.

The old typical Sunday dinner in my homeland:
beef broth with noodles, boiled beef ( from the broth) with horseradis, roast chicken and baked potatoes, salad and a dessert at the end. ( + a glass of wine or beer, lemonade, juice).

The Sunday roast is a traditional British and Irish main meal that is served on Sundays but can be eaten on any day of the week.

I eat whatever my mom prepares.

Offer white rice preferably jasmine or basmati, lots of vegetables sautéed in spices or steamed, meats of your choice baked or oven roasted. Fresh salad or green salad garnished with light toppings of fruit or raisins.
